The book Scent Identity Design explores fragrance as a language of identity and as a design tool, capable of translating values, visions, and memories into a sensory presence that is coherent and recognisable. The book presents an original discipline that brings together neuroscience, branding, sensory culture, and storytelling, offering an applied method for designing olfactory identities for brands, places, and people. A journey from the invisible to the tangible, in which fragrance becomes a cultural gesture and an experience.
The book is sold together with a 10 ml home fragrance spray vial, a scented bookmark, and a card explaining the fragrance, as a sensory extension of the editorial project. The fragrance speaks of innovation, sustainability, and a return to origins through:
- primal notes of the earth such as carrot seed and cardamom
- spiritual and profound woods such as palo santo and amyris
- a contemporary note such as karma wood
- an iris inspired by Florence, created using upcycling techniques
- pure vanilla, without artificial vanillin, in the form of vanilla caviar
